Scott Fischer Founder/President of CFO IDAHO
As a former CPA in both California and Idaho, Scott Fischer, President, has lead finance teams at some of the best companies in America, including Boise Cascade, Xerox, Hewlett Packard and Solectron. Scott pulls lessons learned and shares across the CFO Idaho team and to the owners/executives of our client companies in ways that help clients best achieve their company goals. Scott has spent much of his early career in Silicon Valley Fortune 100 companies.
As Controller at Boise Cascade, he assisted in divestiture of the Container Division. As Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Xerox Engineering Systems, Scott led both New Product Introduction Teams and the finance team of a $400M division of Xerox. He was appointed Treasurer and managed the the 7-bank syndicate that financed the purchase of MCMS from Micron. Scott joined Solectron, a manufacturer of computer systems and spent 9 years there helping the company to grow from to $15B in Sales and held many positions, including Audit Director, Director of Business Integration at Solectron do Brasil and Global Controller at Solectron and Worldwide VP of Financial Planning and Analysis, with responsibilities for both acquisitions and divestitures.
To be closer to home and family, Scott exited the Silicon Valley and began working with smaller clients. He accepted a board seat and the CFO role at Peninsula Group, a $250M construction group and found great satisfaction in working in smaller groups. Subsequently, Scott moved his family back to Idaho and started CFO Idaho with the belief that his experience and knowledge could make a big difference in helping Idaho companies succeed in the worldwide markets. Since 2011, Scott has grown CFO Idaho to be the best, most experienced outsourced CFO firm in Idaho.
Scott holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration -Accounting from Boise State University and is a founding member of Beta Alpha Psi accounting fraternity. Scott has formerly held Certified Public Accountant certificates in both California and Idaho. He is currently a member of the Idaho Technology Council and former committee chair for Financial Executives International in San Francisco. Scott is a member of the Trailhead here in Boise and regularly lends his assistance to early entrepreneurs as they hatch new ideas. He also lends his time to the Venture College at Boise State University as a volunteer advisor, judge, or dishwasher!

Todd Lancourt brings over 16 years of small business startup experience to his QuickBooks based bookkeeping services. As a business owner and entrepreneur, Todd brings the experience of accounting controls, startups, payroll and HR. Being on the front lines gives him a unique perspective on the financial reporting needs of his clients; QuickBooks expertise by a business owner for business owners.
In his free time, Todd enjoys singing loudly, riding around town on his vintage scooter and travelling the Northwest with his wife following the crazy activities of his kids.
Joe specializes in working with residential builders to help manage cash flow and profitability. He has served in executive and CFO roles at several local companies including Hawkins-Smith, Neighborworks Boise, Kastera Homes, and Holton Homes. Additionally, he started and ran his own real estate consulting and turn-key construction company.
His extensive 30 years’ experience, provides him with in-depth knowledge of fiscal controls, job costing, operations, turn-arounds, planning and growth. He holds a BBA in Accounting from Boise State University.
Tony Held is an ex-Silicon Valley refugee with over 20 years of experience as a financial and accounting executive in high growth private and public companies. Prior to joining CFO Idaho, Tony was a CFO consultant for many venture backed technology startups.
He has lead numerous strategic and tactical financial initiatives positioning companies for exits. Tony received his BA in Economics and Psychology from UCLA. You’ll often find Tony tooling around the Ridge to River trails on his mountain bike or exploring Idaho’s back country.
